Palmetto St Augustine®

Palmetto St. Augustine has a deep green color, and medium texture. It is superb shade tolerance, cold tolerance, and disease resistance.

General Maintenance

Soil & Fertilizer:
Prefers neutral to alkaline soil – Fertilize twice a year, spring and fall, with complete fertilizer (10-10-10). Use 10lbs per 1000ft on each application. Apply 3 additional applications of Nitrogen only during the summer months at a rate of 1lb of Nitrogen per 1000ft (This will bearound 5 pounds of the actual Fertilizer).

Watering:
During sod establishment water every day so that the soil is socked 3-4 inches deep and do not allow to wilt. An additional watering might be needed. The primary watering should be done between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Established sod should be watered everyday during the hot months are about every 4-7 days during cooler months.

Mowing:
Mow 5-7 days at 1.5 to 2.5 inches

Fungicides:
Use Daconil to prevent disease on monthly basis.

Raleigh St Augustine

Raleigh is a vigorous, medium green, medium texture, lawn grass. It was selected for the central of St. Augustine decline disease and for it cold tolerance. It is presently the highest ranking cold tolerant verity available.

JaMar Zoysia®

JaMar is a medium texture zoysia grass developed for use in high traffic, high visibility application. Has very excellent shade tolerance.

Zeon Zoysia®

Zeon Zoysia® is another of the improved zoysia cultivars chosen for its superior genetic characteristics by BladeRunner Farms. Discovered by David Doguet, this fine-textured progeny came from selections collected by USDA breeder Jack Murray, in Kobe, Japan. Zeon was engineered and developed to provide the landscape industry with a superior fine bladed zoysia, with increased shade tolerance, low incidence of thatch production, and an accelerated rate of spread. In addition, unlike Emerald Zoysia, Zeon, is extremely low maintenance and can be mowed using a standard rotary type machine.

Centipede

Centipede is a medium green color with medium texture very suitable for low maintenance.

Apply 1 application of 10-10-10 at a rate of 5 pound per 1000ft after 90% green up not before. Then a 2nd application at the same rate in late summer.

Watering:
During sod establishment water every day so that the soil is socked 3-4inches deep and do not allow to wilt. An additional watering might be needed. The primary watering should be done between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Established sod should be watered everyday during the hot months are about every 4-7 days during cooler months

Mowing:
Mow every 2-10 days at height 2 inches.

Fescue

Fescue is a cool season grass grown mostly in the northern parts of the United States. New varities have made it possible to enjoy grass as far south as North Georgia well suited for cool, moist growing conditions.

Grows well in clay to sandy soils neutral to alkalize soils. Above tolerance For acidic soils P.H. level of 4.5 to 8.5. Need 1 pound of actual nitrogen per 1000ft per growing month or every 45days. Fertilize twice per year with 10 pounds of 10-10-10 per 1000ft.

Watering:
During sod establishment water every day so that the soil is socked 3-4inches deep and do not allow to wilt. An additional watering might be needed. The primary watering should be done between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Established sod should be watered everyday during the hot months are about every 4-7 days during cooler months

Tifway 419 Bermuda

Dark green in color and medium fine texture. Grow best in full sun. Excellent disease resistance.

General Maintenance

Fertilization:
Apply complete fertilizer during spring and fall. (10-10-10 at rate of 10lbs per 1000ft) Make 2-3 nitrogen applications during summer. P.H. level of 5.5-7.0.

Watering:
Apply at least 1inch of water as deep soaking every 4days or as needed. During sod establishment it will need to be watered daily between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 9:00 am.

Mowing:
Need mowing about every 4-7 days. Never remove more than 1/3 of shoot growth in one mowing. The lower you mow it the more frequent it will need to be mowed.

Fungicide:
Tolerant to daconil

Herbzides:
2-40. MSMA, Dicamba, Imaxaqum, Pennant, Balen, Prowl, Betesan, Simizme.
